What associations are you a member of?

The American Disc Jockey Association since December of 2010. The association is made up of professional mobile entertainers. Their mission is to encourage success through continuous education, camaraderie, and networking.

DJ Segal is also a member of multiple veterans groups including American Veterans Motorcycle Riders Association, Veterans Enlisted Students Association, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the American Legion.

What happens if something breaks during our event?

Back-up equipment ready to fulfill the needs of these unfortunate events. These unfortunate events have never happened to date, and we hope to keep it that way.

What if we would like to see you in action?

It is unprofessional to bring clients to another client's event. Feel free to attend when he performs at public events and bridal shows. Please feel free to ask him to see him perform live.

What kind of attire do you wear?

The attire coordinates with your event. If you would like your dj to match your color scheme, dress casual, or to wear a full tuxedo, please inform him of what you would prefer. Your dj does not want to distract others on your special day, he wants to add to it.

can we see a list of songs?

DJ Segal has thousands of songs and music videos on demand. All music is in digital format and compact discs (cd's) are provided as back-up. He does not provide a printed list, but you may access his online music database, as well as see a list of top songs from current decades.

will our dj play requests?

During your meetings with him, you will be asked if you would like requests from your guests to be played. He will also go over genres of music for your event and specific songs you would like to be played or not to be played during your event. If you already have been given a group name and password, you may access your request list here.

how much room does the dj need at our event?

A dj needs at least 6 feet by 4 feet, that's not including speakers, lights, and other equipment. Usually 12 ft by 8 ft is plenty of space, but the entertainment can get large depending on your expectations. Please allow your dj to see the event location and discuss space requirements.

do you play clean music?

Clean music is a very debatable subject. The radio and television today allow a lot of language to go unfiltered. DJ Segal plays music to fit your event. Please discuss with your dj what you feel is appropriate at your event.
